Mission Statement

The mission of Growing Hope Counseling PLLC is to empower you by helping you understand, heal, and resolve what may be holding you back by helping you figure out what you really want for your life and how you can make that happen.
Glenda Eversole, LCSW founded Growing Hope Counseling to help people develop and reach their goals by improving relationships and resolving situations or issues that may be holding them back in life. Glenda is an experienced therapist with a heart for helping people, and believes in using a flexible, eclectic approach to counseling, specifically tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Glenda Eversole, LCSW
Glenda Eversole is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who is the founder of Growing Hope Counseling.  Glenda created Growing Hope Counseling to help people develop and reach their goals by improving relationships and resolving situations or issues that may be holding them back in life. Glenda is an experienced therapist with a heart for helping people, and believes in using a flexible, eclectic approach to counseling, specifically tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Megan Ogle Colclasure, LCSW

Megan is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who loves connecting with individuals and families. She enjoys working with young adults, families, and teens. Megan is known for her warm, genuine approach when working with individuals and families, and offers a non-judgmental atmosphere for individuals navigating through life’s seasons. As a therapist, one of her main goals is for her clients to feel accepted, comfortable, supported, and empowered during treatment. 

 

Areas of focus: depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, relationship problems, child behavior issues, and mood disorders.

Rachel Brown, LCSW

Rachel is proud to be a Licensed Certified Social Worker who enjoys partnering with individuals and families to help overcome difficult seasons of life. She has experience working with children as young as 5 years old, families, and adults. She is known for her genuine, non-judgmental approach and meeting her clients where they are in life with compassion and empathy. Her ultimate goal is to help guide her clients to become the best version of themselves, equipping them with skills to regulate difficult emotions, and teaching them effective communication so their desires and dreams become a reality.

Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, anger management, chronic illness, low self-esteem, relationship issues, child behavior issues, family conflict, and faith-based counseling.

Emily Hubbard

Emily is our GHC office manager and billing personnel. She is usually the first person you speak with on the phone or see when you come to your first visit.  She is a warm and lovely person who is here to help you with any questions you may have about making appointments, billing, and/or insurance issues.

Robin Jackson, LCSW

Robin Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who, through her own experiences in life, knows firsthand that the journey is not easy.  She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families learn new skills to improve their mood, heal from the past, and thrive in their present situations.  She offers guidance and support while helping to expand self-awareness and identify individual strengths to cope with life’s stressors.

Areas of focus: Depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and grief & loss.

Mika Whitfield, LCSW

Mika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with people in all stages of life.  She especially appreciates working with teenagers and young adults trying to manage during difficult and trying times.  Mika uses a Client-Centered and collaborative approach to meet the needs of her clients by helping them brainstorm and use problem-solving skills to set realistic goals in treatment.  She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Strengths-Based Perspective to aid in redirecting damaging thought processes that hinder progress. Mika is fun-loving, understanding, compassionate, encouraging, and non-judging and believes that it CAN and WILL get better!

Areas of Focus: Anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship issues, domestic violence, conflict resolution, and faith-based counseling.

Searcy Office

Winter Yielding, LPC, RPT
Winter is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who loves connecting with individuals and families and assisting in healing where brokenness has occurred. Her calming and comforting approach is her foundation for helping others achieve their goals.  It is her hope and prayer that therapy will invoke lasting and positive changes for her clients’ lives.  She is trained to work with children as young as 3 years old. She is trained in EMDR and Brainspotting.

Area of Focus: Play therapy, trauma, attachment issues, depression, anxiety, premarital and marital relationships, and behavioral issues with children & adolescents.
