Bethany is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who believes it is important for people to know their core beliefs–which are often unrecognized–because this leads to increased self awareness. With this knowledge, one can replace negative thoughts with more positive, realistic thinking, leading to better habits for the person as a whole. Self care is accessing the body's abilities to improve mental, emotional, physical and/or spiritual functioning in daily life. Bethany and her clients use those concepts to develop a plan of action for the person to accomplish and experience positive results.

 

Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, parents of special needs children and adults, first responders and their spouses, adults, and the advanced-age adult population.
